Last Friday I accidentally left my lunch at work. I wasn’t sure if the custodial staff actually did there job and threw it out on Friday (hint: the didnt), so today’s lunch consisted of four PB&Js. The raspberry jam was my favorite part.
Still have a granola and a couple banana muffins left, so I have backup if I’m hungry again. What are you guys having?

Lean Cuisine fiesta grilled chicken. Best food substitute in your freezer aisle.
Trade ya for a muffin?

See, now I want one. I’m all for reusable containers. I might not care long enough to be ‘pro-green’, but I don't make it worst by needless garbage. :)

Did your mom cut the crusts off for you?
Kidding.
Let’s see peppered ham and cheese sandwich, yoghurt, oranges, carrots.
Will hopefully counteract the jack in the box breakfast...

No, my wife refuses to make PB&Js for me anymore. For some reason, she spreads it just right for maximum taste, I have not been able to replicate it.
It wasn’t until she made a few PB&Js for me that I discovered there was a ‘right’ way to do it.

I think mine was wheat...maybe....whatever my wife buys I guess? Probably wheat, she's health crazy but denies it when I call her out on it, :).

Lemme see here...a pair of Nutrigrain bars, blueberry and mostly not smooshed. I already ate the spare peppermint from Jason’s Deli I found in the back of my stationary drawer. When the bars are done, I’ll start gnawing on my fingers.

normally my lunch is in a normal container.
but she put the elmo one and a pink one in my lunch just to get me to react to it.
normally she just puts note in my lunch with something NSFW written on them

I make my daughter’s lunch every day in a bento box-like collection of containers. I take pride in finding healthy things to fill them while keeping the menu fresh. She brags to her friends about the lunches I make (I’ve been told).
Try this one: If you ever have left over pancakes from Sunday breakfast (I make mine with berries or chocolate chips), use two of those for a PB&J sandwich. Maybe even throw on a little Nutella. They’ll love you for it.

She sounds awesome. I sent my wife a link to you post, she replied with “nice. We have enough sandwich containers. ;p”. So that was definitely a shot down, ‘I’m burning alive get this fire off of me’ moment, lol.

Any and most forms of potato are great. French’d fries, steak cut chips, boiled then fried new potatos, mashed potatos, roast potatos, jacket potatos, etc... awesome.

I’m thinking banana peppers, green peppers, and onion all caramelized. Turkey because it’s cheaper than beef (and I love it more), and....hmmm.....perhaps jalapeño Monterey Jack cheese? Yeah...that sounds good, :).
And thanks!

Really. Take three potatoes and wrap them in tin foil (but remove the foil for the last 10 minutes or so) to cook. Remove from the oven and cut either in half or how I like to do which is make two cuts length ways making three equal width pieces, then butter each cut surface, lightly salt add grated coloured cheese and small diced ham if you have any a enjoy. You may want to sit the potatoes back in the warm oven to really melt the cheese for two or three minutes.
Even microwave potato is pretty good (also easiest way to do mash), pierce a couple of potatoes all round and place on a microwaveable plate (cover with a piece of kitchen towel) and 11-15 minutes at 850w should do it (stab through with a knife to see if they are cooked, the knife should glide through if done, if not, turn over and do f another two-three minutes. Job done. If doing lazy mash do as above, then cut the potatoes in half and scoop out contents into a bowl and mash with the fork. Add a touch of milk and butter with a little black pepper and job done. No pans covered in starch or masher to clean, just a bowl.
